[BLOG] PANN: Manila fans are badㅋ

With the recent visit of INFINITE in the Philippines, everyone was so delighted and most fans prepared for the big day such as memorizing fan chants, lyrics and preparing projects to show their support. As we're all aware of, despite the growth of the Korean wave to other countries outside Korea, not all fans can speak and understand their language. Because as they say, music has it's own language and that's why people from different ethnicity can enjoy foreign music even without the background of the origin country's language.

2 years later, finally Infinite came back and here we are again for another crazy experience. For this year, they opted to stay at the Diamond Hotel here in Manila.

First things first, I'm gonna be honest in here, we might sound/look like sasaengs/stalkers but believe me or not we do this because we wanted to see them, how they are outside of the usual Infinite that we see onstage. Rest assured that whenever we get to encounter them somewhere, somehow that we don't mean any harm done to them.

We arrived at the hotel late in the morning and people are starting to pile up at the entrance, waiting for the boys to arrive. Unlike the others, me and my friends had an actual reservation at the hotel. We waited at the lobby, along with some who were able to get in (even without reservations), for the boys and for our check-in time as well. After waiting for 3 to 4 hours, still no trace of Infinite was found until Dongwoo officially posted an Instavid update on his Instagram account confirming that they've already settled on their rooms.

:: INFINITE X POOL - POOR SUNGJONG ::

At around noon, we decided to go up to our room to rest for awhile since both of us just had a long stressful week at work. The moment I woke up, my friend already bombarded me with messages about Sungjong being at the pool area while I was asleep.

It's quite a shame that we weren't able to get even a glimpse of him but it's fine since I'll surely see him at the concert tomorrow. I heard from my friends that the fans that were able to see him there persistently asked for his sign that made him decide to just leave. Personally speaking, that was kind of rude for those fans to ask him in a way that made him felt disturbed.

:: INFINITE X POOL - WOOHYUN'S PRIVATE FUNCTION ::

At this time, me and my friends just got back from eating dinner (and drinking some cocktails) and instead of heading straight to our room, we decided to go back to the Pool Area again since it's quite refreshing to stay there and the landscape was good as well. However, before we even reached to that point, someone was already blocking the way, restricting us access. The security personnel informed us that there's a private function happening at that area and that we're not allowed into it.

Thinking that this might be one of those corporate events that usually happen at the hotel, we decided not to ask anymore details and just let it be. We sat down for a couple of minutes at that hallway since we decided not to go up yet. 5 minutes later, some blonde guy just instantly flashed in walking in front of us, escorted by a couple of big bulky guys wearing black. It took me a couple of seconds to realize that this time, it really is WOOHYUN!

Basing on how he was dressed, rather he's not wearing anything at all besides his shorts and the towel wrapped up in his upper body (if that counts), anyone would guess that the private function that the security personnel talked about was his, Woohyun's private function at the pool.

After days of counting down before his official comeback, finally Woollim Entertainment revealed the teaser for the final track of Sunggyu's second solo album. Fans and netizens alike started speculating about how this album would turn out, since it was previously mentioned that it was a gift to Sunggyu by none other than his idol and role model himself, Nell's Kim Jonghwan. I, too, personally hoped for something different from what he had done with his previous solo album Another Me. As I have translated before, Inspirits tried guessing the series of release for the teasers, which actually seems accurate based on the trend that happened.

Many people might've seen those Twitter posts where I was mentioned in, but still I would like to officially post it here for everyone to see and also to show that I was or am not biased with anyone. As many Sungjong stans have reacted with my previous blog post about Spring Flowers (a.k.a 봄꽃)'s closure, it seems like we are missing something about the issue. Thanks to the nice Korean Inspirit that I came across on Twitter who brought some facts about Spring Flower that is quite oblivious and shocking at the same time, not just for me, but I'm guessing for everyone as well.
